This special collective book is dedicated to Professor Roman Słowiński on theoccasion of his 70th birthday this year—2022.Professor Roman Słowiński (Fig. 1) is a widely recognized scientist due tohis work in the fields of operations research, multiple-criteria decision-making,optimization, computer science and artificial intelligence. In particular, he stronglyparticipated in the creation and development of the domain of intelligent decisionsupport systems, which combines elements of operations research and artificialintelligence. This research thread became the leading idea of this book and theinspiration for its title.
