Summary

The formation of cloud droplets by binary heterogeneous nucleation and their growth by binary condensation have been investigated theoretically. The nucleation probability and condensational growth in homomolecular system (water) are compared with the nucleation probability and growth in heteromolecular systems (water + nitric acid).
