| Content Summary | Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία αρχικά πραγματεύεται τη μελέτη των εννοιών του οικείου και του ανοίκειου μέσα από το παράδειγμα του S. Michele in Borgo στην Πίζα. Πώς αυτές οι δύο έννοιες της ψυχολογίας εμφανίζονται στον δημόσιο χώρο, με βάση πάντοτε το συγκεκριμένο κτίριο; Έπειτα μελετάται το πώς η μνήμη επηρεάζει τον σχεδιασμό ενός κτιρίου ή και μιας ολόκληρης πόλης, όπως η Πίζα. Ως στόχος της εργασίας, συνοψίζοντας, τίθεται η διερεύνηση των ορίων μεταξύ οικείου και ανοίκειου, η σχέση αυτών με την έννοια της μνήμης, ατομικής και συλλογικής και το κατά πόσο είναι διακριτά μεταξύ τους. Μέσα από γνωστά κτιριακά παραδείγματα ενσυνείδητης χρήσης του ανοίκειου θα μελετηθούν, στη συνέχεια, οι συνθήκες και οι χειρισμοί που καθιστούν ένα κτίριο ανοίκειο, αντιπαραβάλλοντας τα αργότερα με το παράδειγμα του S. Michele, στο οποίο δεν υπήρξε καμία τέτοια αρχική πρόθεση των αρχιτεκτόνων. Τέλος, θέτοντας ως παράμετρο την εν τέλει ύπαρξη του ανοίκειου αισθήματος στο συγκεκριμένο κτίριο, θα γίνει προσπάθεια διερεύνησης των στοιχείων που το καθιστούν αφιλόξενο στον ιστορικό ιστό, διακρίνοντας την σχεδιαστική απεικόνιση από την μετέπειτα αρχιτεκτονική υλοποίηση του έργου και το κατά πόσο αυτές αποκλίνουν μεταξύ τους, ερευνώντας παράλληλα σε ποιους παράγοντες οφείλεται η διαφορά από το αρχικά επιδιωκόμενο. | el |
| Content Summary | The present research paper, first deals with the study of the concepts of canny and uncanny through the example of S. Michele in Borgo in Pisa. How do these two concepts of psychology appear in public space, always based on that particular building? Afterwards it is studied how memory affects the design of a certain building or an entire city, such as Pisa. The aim of this thesis, in summary, is to explore the boundaries between canny and uncanny, their relationship to the concept of memory, individual and collective and whether they are distinct from one another. Through well-known examples of conscious use of the uncanny, the conditions and operations that make a building seam uncanny, will be then studied, contrasting them later with the example of S. Michele, in which there was no such initial intention of the architects. In conclusion, setting as an unchangeable parameter the consolidated existence of the uncanny feeling in this building, an attempt will be made to investigate the elements that make it seem unfamiliar towards the historical urban web. distinguishing the initial design from the later architectural implementation of the project and whether they deviate from each other, while simultaneously researching the factors responsible from the original purpose. | en |
