| Content Summary | Ήδη από την αρχαιότητα το αίθριο αποτελούσε μια μορφή προαύλιου χώρου ο οποίος εξυπηρετούσε ποικίλες ανάγκες. Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά το ρόλο του αίθριου στη λειτουργία των θρησκευτικών κτιρίων. Εξετάζεται o βαθμός επίτευξης μέσω του χώρου αυτού, των λατρευτικών σκοπών, πέραν της αρχιτεκτονικής του αναγκαιότητας , με αναφορές στην αρχαιότητα και τη ρωμαϊκή περίοδο, την βυζαντινή και λιγότερο τη νεότερη. Επιλέγονται να αναλυθούν κτίρια θρησκευτικού χαρακτήρα εκ των δύο μεγαλύτερων θρησκειών, του Χριστιανισμού και του Ισλαμισμού. Τέλος, ο στόχος της έρευνας αφορά τον συσχετισμό της παρουσίας του αίθριου σε αυτά με τους λειτουργικούς και λατρευτικούς σκοπούς της εκάστοτε θρησκείας ,καθώς επίσης και την ερμηνεία του τρόπου με τον οποίο η χωρική αυτή δομή οργανώνει ένα θρησκευτικό οικοδόμημα και τις ανάγκες που εξυπηρετεί, λειτουργικές, θρησκευτικές, συμβολικές, βιοκλιματικές . | el |
| Content Summary | Since ancient times, the area of the atrium was a form of forecourt that served a variety of needs. This paper examines the contribution of the atrium in the functioning of religious buildings. It also studies in which level the religious purposes are being fulfilled through this space, beyond its architectural necessity, with references to the Ancient and the Roman period, the Byzantine period and to a lesser extent the most recent one. Religious buildings from the two largest religions, Christianity and Islam, are chosen to be analyzed. Finally, the aim of this research is to clarify how this structure is associated with the functional and worship purposes of each religion and also how it organizes a religious building as well as the needs it serves, functional, religious, symbolic, bioclimatic. | en |
