Global exponential stabilization of freeway modelsGlobal exponential stabilization of freeway models Peer-Reviewed Journal Publication Δημοσίευση σε Περιοδικό με Κριτές 2017-11-132016enThis work is devoted to the construction of feedback laws, which guarantee the robust global exponential stability of the uncongested equilibrium point for general discrete-time freeway models. The feedback construction is based on a control Lyapunov function approach and exploits certain important properties of freeway models. The developed feedback laws are tested in simulation, and a detailed comparison is made with an existing feedback law reported in the literature and employed in practice. The robustness properties of the corresponding closed-loop system with respect to measurement errors are also studied. The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Research Council under the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme (FP/2007-2013) / ERC Grant Agreement n. 321132, project TRAMAN21. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control261184-1210Karafyllis_et_al_IJRNC_26_2016.pdfChania [Greece]Library of TUC2017-11-13application/pdf1.3 MBfree Karafyllis Iason Καραφυλλης Ιασων Kontorinaki Maria Κοντορινακη Μαρια Papageorgiou Markos Παπαγεωργιου Μαρκος John Wiley and Sons Global exponential stability Freeway models Discrete-time systems Nonlinear systems
