Summary

In this thesis we will attempt to search for a comprehensible and relatively simple mathematical sensitivity analysis model, which will allow us to evaluate the results regarding the implementation of the «TEE KEνAK» software in the case of typical Greek buildings. The difficulty of this project lies in the fact that the software is not an open source model and thus has not disclosed many of the parameters taken into account in the analysis carried out with this software. The fact that you cannot directly assess the results of the above analysis, guides us to use indirect procedures and practices. In order to achieve the objectives of the project and thus enable us to evaluate and interpret the software testing results, it is necessary to apply the following procedures:1.Elementary Effect Method: In other words exhaustive testing by gradually changing the main parameters affecting the energy performance analysis within the limits of their standard variation and then mapping and interpretation of results obtained.2.Case Study Method: In other words pinpointed testing using standard building models which are met in the Greek construction practice and subsequently mapping and interpretation of the results obtained. It is assumed that the results of this analysis will have a considerable scientific and practical interest, since we can investigate the linearity of the model used in relation to each of the parameters affects it, and also we will be able to see the relative influence and importance of each of these parameters on the overall energy performance of typical Greek building structures. In addition, a comprehensive assessment and quantitative classification of these parameters, for each geographic and climatic region, could probably:1.act as process guidelines in the early design stages of new, or renovated, buildings projects in order to optimize their construction cost.2.be used, at local or regional level, for the formulation of targeted local energy saving policies regarding the constructed environment.3.be the subject for a new approach that can be useful for valuators, in order to include energy efficiency rating in professional property assessments.
