The aim of this project is to present the establishment of the sixth School at the Technical University of Crete, the School of Planetary and Space Sciences. In addition, the scenario is created in which the need to establish the new school appears, the existing conditions are recorded, the area and the parameters for the creation of the new school are analyzed (building plan, new curriculum, etc.). At the same time, a historical review is made to justify the design of the building, which has been influenced by the "Space Race" during the Cold War.
