| Content Summary | Η τεχνολογία Blockchain αποτελεί μια από τις σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες στην εποχή της ψηφιοποίησης, η οποία τείνει τα τελευταία χρόνια να ενσωματώνεται στο χώρο της θαλάσσιας εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας από διάφορες ναυτιλιακές εταιρείες προκειμένου να ενισχύσουν την ανταγωνιστικότητά τους. Ο χώρος της ναυτιλίας χαρακτηρίζεται ως ένας χώρος με πολύπλοκες και χρονοβόρες διαδικασίες οι οποίες χρίζουν κατάλληλη διαχείριση για αντιμετώπιση μιας σειράς προβλημάτων που έχουν δημιουργηθεί. Ωστόσο οι έρευνες σχετικά με την υιοθέτηση και εφαρμογή της τεχνολογίας αυτής στις θαλάσσιες μεταφορές περιορίζονται στην ανάλυση συγκεκριμένων ωφελειών όπως η μείωση του χρόνου και του κόστους μεταφοράς, η αντιμετώπιση του προβλήματος γραφειοκρατίας, χωρίς να γίνεται μια ολιστική προσέγγιση της υιοθέτησης της τεχνολογίας Blockchain στο ναυτιλιακό κλάδο. Η ανάλυση των πλεονεκτημάτων και των εμποδίων που συνεπάγεται η εφαρμογή της, καταδεικνύουν την ανάγκη καλύτερης ενημέρωσης αλλά και εκπαίδευσης όλων των ενδιαφερόμενων μερών προκειμένου να είναι σε θέση να αντιληφθούν τη χρήση της μέσω της ανάλυσης κόστους-οφέλους. Η ανάλυση των αποτελεσμάτων των ερευνών στην παρούσα εργασία καταδεικνύει την ανάγκη όλων των ενδιαφερόμενων μερών στον κλάδο της ναυτιλίας να εκμεταλλευτούν τις ευκαιρίες που παρέχονται με την υιοθέτηση του Blockchain ως ένα σημαντικό παράγοντα μετριασμού των σχετικών κινδύνων που προκύπτουν κατά τη διάρκεια των συναλλαγών με τους εταίρους τους και να ενισχύσουν τη διαφάνεια και την αποτελεσματικότητά τους. | el |
| Content Summary | Blockchain is one of the modern technologies in the era of digitalization, which in recent years tend to be integrated into the maritime supply chain by various shipping companies in order to strengthen ,their competitiveness. The shipping industry is characterized as an area with complex and time- consuming procedures that require appropriate management to deal with many problems that have been created. However, researches as regard the adoption and application of this technology in maritime transport is limited to analyzing specific benefits such as reducing transportation time and cost, tackling the problem of red tape, without taking a holistic approach to the adoption of Blockchain technology in the shipping industry. The analysis of the advantages and obstacles involved in its implementation, demonstrates the need for better information and training of all interested parties in order to be able to understand its use through cos-benefit analysis. Analysis of research results in this paper highlights the need for all maritime stakeholders to seize the opportunities offered by the adoption of Blockchain as an important mitigating factor of the relevant risks arising in the course of transactions with their partners and to enhance their transparency and effectiveness. | en |
