The relationship between architecture and clothing design, is a field of study that has been re¬searched by both architects and fashion designers. It spans across multiple areas, one of which is the common design practices they share. Based on the theory of G. Semper on the ”dressing” of buildings, this thesis aims to explore the reinterpretation of fabric processing techniques in the exteriors of architectural buildings of the 21st century, as well as their role as message carriers. The object of the research is 20 projects of renowned architects of the international field, which are clas¬sified into 7 categories, depending on the technique of processing fabric applied to their façade.
