Summary

Formula 1 is the premier motorsport championship, combining the most advanced technology, racing strategy, and the adrenaline of high speed, offering a unique spectacle that captivates millions of viewers worldwide. The subject of this thesis is the design of an F1 track and the central pit-stop building in Megara, Attica. The 5.8 km track consists of various straights and turns designed to challenge drivers' skills at different speeds and conditions. The track is surrounded by spectator stands and specially designed hills, providing excellent visibility throughout the circuit. The central building is inspired by the dynamism and aesthetics of F1 single-seaters. The curves, parallel lines, and open spaces reflect the flow and elegance of a racing car, incorporating the sense of speed and motion—elements that are central to the F1 experience.
