| Content Summary | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας ερευνητικής εργασίας αποτελεί η μελέτη της εξέλιξης των ξενοδοχειακών μονάδων στην Αθηναϊκή Ριβιέρα από το 1980 μέχρι σήμερα, με έμφαση στη σύγκριση του ενεργειακού τους αποτυπώματος ανά 20ετία. Η εργασία ξεκινά με την έννοια της «ριβιέρας», η οποία ανάγεται στις βρετανικές ακτές του 19ου αιώνα. Ιστορικά, η ριβιέρα απευθυνόταν κυρίως σε υψηλές κοινωνικές τάξεις, με κορυφαίο παράδειγμα τη Γαλλική Ριβιέρα. Οι επισκέψεις σε αυτές τις περιοχές δεν ήταν μόνο ζήτημα κοινωνικού κύρους, αλλά συνδέονταν επίσης με την υγεία και την ευεξία. Στη συνέχεια, γίνεται ανάλυση της Αθηναϊκής Ριβιέρας, από τις πρώτες λουτρικές εγκαταστάσεις στον Φαληρικό Όρμο έως τη σύγχρονη εποχή. Τέλος, εξετάζονται τα ξενοδοχειακά συγκροτήματα που έχουν επιλεγεί με βάση συγκεκριμένα κριτήρια, ενώ ακολουθεί λεπτομερής ανασκόπηση της ενεργειακής συμπεριφοράς των μονάδων αυτών. Η ανάλυση καταλήγει στο συμπέρασμα ότι, παρά τη δυναμική εκκίνηση του ξενοδοχειακού τομέα της Αθηναϊκής Ριβιέρας με μια μοντέρνα για την εποχή του προσέγγιση, σήμερα βρίσκεται πίσω σε σχέση με τα σύγχρονα πρότυπα. Συγκεκριμένα, οι απαιτήσεις της εποχής επιβάλλουν τη μετάβαση σε ξενοδοχειακές υποδομές που είναι ενεργειακά φιλικές και αυτόνομες, κάτι που αποτελεί σημαντική πρόκληση για την περιοχή. | el |
