Summary

This thesis analyzes the removal of fluoroquinolones from aqueousmatrices through the Fenton photo process. The introduction describes its purposeresearch and the importance of removal of fluoroquinolones while presentingalso the basic principles of the Fenton photo process and the structure of the work. The literature review includes an extensive study offluoroquinolones, including their properties and uses;as well as their environmental impact. In addition, theVarious methods of removal of fluoroquinolones and its theoretical basis photoFenton's process, as well as its applications in environmental studies. Theexperimental procedure involves the preparation of fluoroquinolone solutions, the execution of photo Fenton experiments and analytical methods fordetermination of fluoroquinolones. In addition, the conditions and theparameterization of experiments. The results and discussion analyse its efficiencyFenton's photo process in the removal of fluoroquinolones by comparing itby other methods and considering the factors that affect performanceher. Environmental impacts and potential for improvement are also analysedof the procedure. The conclusions provide a summary of the main findings, examiningalso applications and prospects for the future, as well as proposals forfurther research. Finally, the annexes include additional experimentsdata, detailed descriptions of experimental procedures, complementarygraphs and tables, as well as a list of abbreviations, andDefinitions. The integration of all these elements composes a completeStudy on the removal of fluoroquinolones through the photo processFenton and its effects on the environment.
