| Content Summary | Η ερευνητική εργασία ξεκινά αναλύοντας τη μετάβαση από την μικρής-κλίμακας χειροτεχνική παραγωγή της προβιομηχανικής εποχής, στην μεγάλης-κλίμακας μαζική παραγωγή που ήρθε με τη βιομηχανοποίηση, ορίζοντας παράλληλα τις έννοιες του χειροποίητου και του τυποποιημένου αντικειμένου. Διερευνά τις σχέσεις μεταξύ δημιουργού-αντικειμένου-χρήστη στα διαφορετικά πλαίσια σχεδιασμού και κατασκευής , εστιάζοντας σε πρακτικές που θα μπορούσαν να τονίσουν χαρακτηριστικά όπως η εξατομίκευση, η ενσωμάτωση και η ενδυνάμωση του ρόλου του ατόμου στη διαδικασία αυτή. Ακόμη, κάνει αναφορά στις περιβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις που ακολούθησαν τη βιομηχανική συνθήκη και σε πρακτικές βιώσιμου σχεδιασμού και κατασκευής που επιχειρούν να μετριάσουν το πρόβλημα. Υποστηρίζει ότι η πρακτική του αρθρωτού σχεδιασμού (modular design) συνδυαστικά με την ψηφιακή κατασκευή θα μπορούσε να αποτελέσει μία αποτελεσματική λύση προσανατολισμένη προς την βιωσιμότητα και την εξατομίκευση στο σχεδιασμό και την κατασκευή αντικειμένων και επίπλων. | el |
