"Green" hotels incorporate principles of sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming to reduce their environmental footprint and preserve natural resources. Through architectural design, emphasis is placed on energy conservation, water consumption reduction, and the use of environmentally friendly materials and technologies. The adaptation of buildings to the local ecosystem and the implementation of eco-friendly operational practices significantly contribute to minimizing environmental impacts. The core principle of the relevant architectural design is energy efficiency, achieved through the strategic placement of buildings to maximize natural light and ventilation. Additionally, innovative materials, green roofs, and curtain wall structures are used to improve thermal insulation, alongside renewable energy systems. Strategies for water consumption reduction are also implemented, either through appropriate design or through systems for more rational water management.Various organizations or certification bodies verify that these hotels comply with high environmental standards. Such practices not only reduce environmental impacts but also promote a culture of environmental awareness among both guests and businesses themselves."Green" hotels combine aesthetics, functionality, and respect for the environment, meeting the modern demands of the tourism sector for a better and more welcoming experience, while also contributing to the reduction of their environmental footprint.
