| Content Summary | Η ερευνητική εργασία αυτή εξετάζει τη δυνατότητα ενσωμάτωσης της περμακουλτούρας στη σύνθεση και οργάνωση του περιβαλλοντικού σχεδιασμού, με έμφαση στον αρχιτεκτονικό και πολεοδομικό τομέα. Η περμακουλτούρα, παρότι είναι κυρίως γνωστή για τις γεωργικές της εφαρμογές, συνδέεται στενά με την οργάνωση του χώρου και την αλληλεπίδραση των πολιτισμών με το φυσικό περιβάλλον, προωθώντας την αυτονομία, την ποικιλομορφία και την ανθεκτικότητα. Η εργασία διερευνά το πώς οι αρχές της περμακουλτούρας μπορούν να ενσωματωθούν σε κλίμακες από τον πολεοδομικό σχεδιασμό μέχρι και τον σχεδιασμό μεμονωμένων κτιρίων, ενισχύοντας τον βιώσιμο σχεδιασμό. Αναλύεται η ιστορική εξέλιξη της περμακουλτούρας, η σχέση της με άλλες βιώσιμες γεωργικές πρακτικές, καθώς και η σύνδεσή της με ιστορικές τάσεις όπως οι κηπουπόλεις και το περιβαλλοντικό κίνημα του 19ου αιώνα. Η μεθοδολογία της έρευνας περιλαμβάνει τη συστηματική μελέτη βιβλιογραφίας και την ανάλυση παραδειγμάτων από τον κριτικό τοπικισμό, τις κηπουπόλεις, τις βιώσιμες γεωργικές πρακτικές, και την ανώνυμη και παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική. Εξετάζονται οι αλληλεπιδράσεις αυτών των αρχιτεκτονικών και περιβαλλοντικών ρευμάτων με την περμακουλτούρα, προκειμένου να εντοπιστούν κοινά σημεία και πιθανές συνέργειες. Στόχος της εργασίας είναι να διερευνήσει τον ρόλο της περμακουλτούρας στον σύγχρονο περιβαλλοντικό σχεδιασμό και την αρχιτεκτονική, αναδεικνύοντας τις δυνατότητες της να συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη βιώσιμων και ανθεκτικών χώρων, οι οποίοι σέβονται τον πολιτισμό, την τοπική κληρονομιά και το φυσικό περιβάλλον. | el |

Although permaculture is primarily known for its agricultural applications, it is closely linked to spatial organization and the interaction between cultures and the natural environment, promoting autonomy, diversity, and resilience. This study explores how permaculture principles can be incorporated across scales—from urban planning to individual building design—to strengthen sustainable design. The research analyzes the historical evolution of permaculture, its relationship with other sustainable agricultural practices, and its connection to historical trends such as garden cities and the 19th-century environmental movement. The methodology includes a systematic literature review and the analysis of examples from critical regionalism, garden cities, sustainable agricultural practices, and vernacular and traditional architecture. The interactions between these architectural and environmental movements and permaculture are examined to identify commonalities and potential synergies. The aim of the study is to investigate the role of permaculture in contemporary environmental design and architecture, highlighting its potential to contribute to the development of sustainable and resilient spaces that respect culture, local heritage, and the natural environment. | en |
