| Content Summary | Μέχρι τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1980, ο χωροταξικός σχεδιασμός και η αστικοποίηση στη Γαλλία χαρακτηρίζονταν από έντονο συγκεντρωτισμό, με τις κεντρικές κρατικές αρχές να διατηρούν τον πλήρη έλεγχο. Με την υιοθέτηση των νόμων περί αποκέντρωσης το 1982, η ευθύνη για την αστική ανάπτυξη μεταβιβάστηκε σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Καθεμία από τις υπό μελέτη πόλεις-λιμάνια (Μπορντώ, Τουλόν, Νάντη) επέλεξε διαφορετική στρατηγική αστικής ανάπτυξης, εφαρμόζοντας τεχνικές και υλοποιώντας έργα, ανταποκρινόμενα στις εκάστοτε προκλήσεις και προτεραιότητές της. | Content Summary | Until the early 1980s, spatial planning and urbanization in France were characterized by strong centralization, with central government authorities maintaining full control. With the adoption of the decentralization laws in 1982, the responsibility for urban development was transferred to the local level. Each of the cities-ports (Bordeaux, Toulon, Nantes) of this study chose a different path for its urban development, implementing techniques and creating projects, in response to its specific challenges and priorities. However, all three cities agree on promoting sustainability and the qualitative improvement of public spaces. | en |
