The thesis focuses on the restoration and reuse of the Eynardion in Aegina, which is a Kapodistrian neoclassical ground-floor building and has been designated as a listed monument. The purpose of this thesis is the restoration and reuse of the building, in accordance with international maps for the protection and restoration of monuments and modern trends. Methodologically, the research will be based on two parts: a) in archival material of the services involved and bibliographic material and b) in on-site autopsy and research of the architectural and construction characteristics of the building. The research is divided into three parts. The first part is dedicated to the relationship of Kapodistrias and the architects of the building with the architecture of the newly established Greek state, as well as the relationship of the building with the wider area, where it is located. The second part follows the architectural analysis and documentation of the building, through on-site research of the typology, morphology and pathology. Finally, the third part presents the restoration proposal, based on the data arising from the chapters above.
