This diploma project focuses on the revival of an unfinished educational complex in Kefalari Grove, Kifisia, reintegrating it into the public realm as a cultural center and a venue for collective activities. The design reuses the existing concrete frames, introducing wooden insertions that accommodate spaces for creativity, learning, physical movement, and social gathering. The “porous” arrangement of the forms creates pathways, open courtyards, and meeting points, encouraging the flow of light, air, and human presence. Through the composition and decomposition of old and new elements, the project aims to reactivate an abandoned site within the life of the city, transforming it into a vibrant point of connection between culture and nature.
