Content Summary	Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία διερευνά μια νέα αρχιτεκτονική τάση που αναδύεται ως απάντηση στην παγκόσμια κρίση, την πολιτιστική κόπωση και την περιβαλλοντική κατάρρευση. Εξετάζει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο οι αρχιτέκτονες σήμερα απομακρύνονται από τις μοντέρνες ουτοπίες και τα ψηφιακά θεάματα και στρέφονται προς ένα μοντέλο που βασίζεται στην επαναχρησιμοποίηση, τη συλλογική δημιουργικότητα, την ταπεινότητα και τη φροντίδα του χώρου. Η μελέτη ονομάζει αυτή τη νέα τάση «Νέο Τύπο»: η αρχιτεκτονική στρέφεται στη φθορά, την ατέλεια και τη διάρκεια ως δημιουργικές αξίες μέσω κοινοτικά ριζωμένων προσεγγίσεων που δεν λειτουργούν με οράματα, αλλά με υπολείμματα. Αντλώντας από την έννοια του Junkspace (Koolhaas), το «δίκτυο δρώντων» (Latour), και την έννοια του τεχνίτη (Sennett), και την κοινωνικοπολιτισμική στάση του Normcore που διατύπωσε η συλλογικότητα K-HOLE, η μελέτη φωτίζει πώς αντιστρέφοντας τις κυρίαρχες αρχές της εμβληματικής αρχιτεκτονικής και της εντατικής παραγωγής, αυτή η «Νέα Τάση» συγκροτείται ως στάση που δίνει έμφαση στην προσαρμοστικότητα, την επαναχρησιμοποίηση υλικών και χώρων, τη συλλογική συμμετοχή και τη φροντίδα του υφιστάμενου αστικού τοπίου. Βασίζεται στο έργο στοχαστών όπως ο Richard Sennett, ο Bruno Latour και ο Τ. Παπαϊωάννου , συνυφαίνοντας τη θεωρία με την αρχιτεκτονική πρακτική. Εξετάζονται λεπτομερώς δέκα σύγχρονες μελέτες περιπτώσεων και μέσω συγκριτικής ανάλυσης, η διατριβή προτείνει μια ταξινόμηση της «Νέα Τάσης» σε : Αυτοσχεδιαστές (The Improvisers), Ενεργοποιητές (The Enablers) και Παρατηρητές (The Observers). Τελικά, η διατριβή υποστηρίζει ότι σε έναν κόσμο που χαρακτηρίζεται από την επισφάλεια και την υπερπαραγωγή, η αρχιτεκτονική πρέπει να μετατοπιστεί από την εφεύρεση στη διαχείριση. Ο Νέος Τύπος δεν είναι ένα στυλ, αλλά μια στάση: μια στάση που στρέφεται από το μνημειώδες στο ασήμαντο, από το θέαμα στην ουσία και από το μέλλον στη φροντίδα του παρόντος.	el
Content Summary	This thesis investigates a new architectural sensibility emerging in response to global crisis, cultural fatigue, and environmental collapse. It examines how architects today are moving away from modernist utopias and digital spectacles toward a model grounded in reuse, collective authorship, humility, and spatial care. The study calls this formation the “New Type”: a post-iconic, process-driven, community-rooted approach that works not with vision, but with leftovers. Drawing from the concept of Junkspace by Rem Koolhaas and the sociocultural posture of Normcore articulated by K-HOLE, the thesis identifies an emerging aesthetic of spatial invisibility: buildings that adapt, evolve, and embed themselves into their contexts. It builds upon the work of thinkers like Richard Sennett, Bruno Latour, and T. Papaioannou, weaving theory with architectural practice. Ten contemporary case studies are examined in detail: the Cineroleum (Assemble Studio), Mémé (Lucien Kroll), Monterrey Housing (Alejandro Aravena), dot Architects & Fuminori Nousaku (Japan), Petralona House (Point Supreme), and the micro-urbanism of Atelier Bow-Wow. Through comparative analysis, the thesis proposes a taxonomy of practice: The Improvisers, The Enablers, and The Observers. Ultimately, the thesis argues that in a world defined by precarity and overproduction, architecture must shift from invention to stewardship. The New Type is not a style, but a stance: one that turns from the monumental to the minor, from spectacle to substance, and from the future to the care of the present.	en
