Summary

This paper presents modeling and vibration control of thick multilayered plates. The multilayer plate theory is used for the finite element model. The multilayer concept allows us to consider linear or nonlinear interactions between the layers. This way delamination and nonlinear interaction between the layers is taken into account. Active LQR and LQG/H2 control is implemented in the second part of the paper. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
