Content Summary | The provision of acceptable Quality-of- Service for multimedia traffic over a geosynchronous earth orbit satellite network demands the existence of a well-designed Medium Access Control protocol. This paper proposes a new dynamic satellite bandwidth allocation technique which is based on accurate MPEG-4 videoconference traffic prediction.
