The paper endeavours to complement the emerging public entrepreneurship literaturetowards identifying which factors that stimulate corporate entrepreneurship arereferred by civil servants that posses high score on a self-report entrepreneurialbehaviour scale. In this cross sectional exploratory study, a questionnaire survey was completed by arandom sample (N = 247) public servants across fifteen Greek prefectures. Resultsfrom Bayesian Factor analysis and Conjoint Analysis provide preliminary evidenceabout entrepreneurial civil servants’ preferences and make available a welldocumentedframework in addressing corporate entrepreneurship in the public sector.Furthermore, the results of the study are useful both to academics and policy makersinterested in formulating a strategy that fosters corporate entrepreneurship in thepublic sector
