Περίληψη

The paper presents a study about ERP systems, their functionality,the advantages and disadvantages. ERP is an umbrella term for the broad set ofactivities supported by multi-module application software that helps a manufacturer orother business manage the important parts of it’s core-business and operationalfunctions. Including product planning, parts purchasing, maintaining inventories,interacting with suppliers, providing customer service, and tracking orders, financeand human resources aspects of a business.International Logistics Congress, Thessalonica. (October).Furthermore how a business can have a successful implementation and integration,and a research is being presented regarding ERP systems in Greeks enterprises, abouttheir motives to implement such a system, the problems they faced and which werethe benefits.
