Content SummaryThe authors present a novel Levinson-type order recursive algorithm for the solution of block ρ-Toeplitz systems of equations. Its main advantage is that it avoids matrix inversions. Thus, it can be used as the starting point for the derivation of the stairwise Schur-type algorithm which inherits high parallelism and, since it avoids matrix inversions, is suitable for VLSI implementationen
