| Περίληψη | This study examines the particular characteristics that define the energy and environmental behavior of urban residential and commercial buildings in Greece, where both the climate and other factors that shape these characteristics are specific and well defined. Based on the available statistical data, the study evaluates the energy behavior of corresponding buildings and compares them with similar data of other countries, where prevail different climatic conditions. From this comparison, indications are obtained, and reflect the exploitation of the available energy potential in the country. Furthermore, this study examines the basic methods and practices, which are applied in the design and construction of urban buildings in Greece and contribute to their energy and environmental behavior. | en |
