Summary

This paper provides an insight on the special requirements of accessibility content and services in anambient intelligence context and proposes an agent-based approach into a more general service orientedarchitecture for addressing them. It is based on previous approaches for agent-based information systemsregarding infomobility services adding the mobility impaired people special requirements. The result isan architecture with multiple agents on the user’s nomad device that address the ambient intelligenceissue and a family of dedicated personal assistance agents to each type of mobility impairment whosedeliberation provides the best solutions for people that have a combination of impairments. In this paperwe pay a particular attention on the task of integrating the multi-agent system in the overall architecture.
