Summary

This paper provides an insight on the special requirements of accessibility content andservices in an ambient intelligence context and proposes an agent-based approach andarchitecture for addressing them. It is based on previous approaches for systems regardinginfomobility services adding the mobility impaired people special requirements. The result isan architecture with multiple agents on the user’s nomad device that address the ambientintelligence issue and a family of dedicated personal assistance agents to each type ofmobility impairment whose deliberation provides the best solutions for people that have acombination of impairments.
