Summary

This paper describes an approach towards allowinglightweight nomad devices like mobile phones to access semanticservices that have either been advertised by agents or follow thesemantic web services paradigm. The limitations of lightweightdevices like lack of capability to process XML documents or todeal with complex data types and perform computationallydemanding tasks are overcome by using this approach. Thus, weconsider that when a user or agent is in a nomad or mobilecontext this approach can aid him in searching for and acquiringsimple or complex - added value services from the web.
