The vast area of TUC, the complex architectural design, the dispersed information about people and services, the daily usage of portable devices in order to get informed and communicate, but also their 3D rendering abilities were the reasons TUCapp was created. TUCapp is a social network that apart anonymous communication of University members offers a 3D map that users can navigate, find information about campus buildings, services and personel. The goal of this thesis is the creation of a 3D application that its content can be updated by the users of the application, who can add and edit information and content using the Drupal platform, with no need of administrator or programmer intervention. Using the 3D application creation platform Unity3d, we designed and implemented for android devices, a system for retrieving information from an online database and viewing them in a 3D enviroment. The programmer is able to add new features into this system, creating an android application that can be exported for many operation systems with no need of editing the already written code.
