Summary

The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization is the largest telecommunications provider in Greece, as it was the only one from 1949 until 2001. The Organization operates approximately 1900 owned and 1200 rental buildings and about 3600 masts and towers. The seismic assessment of the infrastructure is extremely critical, as the network should be fully operational after a strong seismic event. In the frame of a research program and proposed Guidelines, the infrastructure vulnerability was examined. This paper presents in a dense form the results obtained from the above investigations.
