In this research investigated possible alternative siting of caching points of garbage with the help of advanced geoinformation program. The aim is to upgrade the standard of living, taking into account human activities and consumption habits of the population served.Over the years, the organization of societies the management of municipal waste was also a major issue, as it directly affects the health and quality of life conditions. Indeed, over-consumption of modern times especially in developed countries makes the correct and careful planning of the collection even more imperative. To achieve this objective main concern regarded the creation of a waste temporary storage points network easily accessible by users and the rescue personnel, taking into account the various economic and social activities have been developed and established in an area, but also the urban fabric of.In this work is investigated alternative sitting of the old city waste temporary storage points and the Venetian port of Chania. This region is characterized for its picturesque, the particular street design, as well as the intense population movements during the year. Then, the quantitative and qualitative waste sample analysis of the study area was identified with those of the entire municipality. However, to understand the specificities of the region and of the conditions actually existing developed questionnaire addressed exclusively to employees of waste disposal, as there is no more appropriate way for the return of reality.Then, the study area was constructed from scratch in the environment of ArcGIS 10.2 program to be reflected faithfully all the urban features such as roads dustbins and points of general interest such as museums or shops.Having, therefore, create the digital entity the old city and the port of Chania developed alternative installation scenarios caching points of municipal waste, designed to meet the relevant requirements, but with reference to the road traffic levels or focus points such as those formed by human activities, in the light of standard dimensioned in Neufert in meshing ergonomics and maximum population service.
