| Content Summary | Η ερευνητική εργασία εξετάζει τις συνδέσεις ανάμεσα στην αρχιτεκτονική, την τέχνη και τη θεωρητική σκέψη γύρω από την έννοια του σώματος στη σύγχρονη εποχή. Σύμφωνα με την υπόθεση εργασίας της ερευνητικής, ο τρόπος με τον οποίο απεικονίζεται ή χρησιμοποιείται το σώμα στην αρχιτεκτονική και την τέχνη είναι άμεσα συνυφασμένος με αυτό που επιλέγει κάθε εποχή ως πρότυπο αισθητικό, επιστημονικό, ιδεολογικό. Το σώμα καταγράφει και αναπαριστά αυτόν τον περίγυρο από ιδέες και αισθητικές μεταφορές που εναλλάσσονται, ανακατασκευάζοντας την εικόνα και τη δομή τόσο της σωματικότητας, όσο και του χώρου. Το σώμα εξετάζεται σε αυτή την οπτική, ως τόπος συνάντησης των διαδοχικών ερμηνειών για την αρχιτεκτονική και τη θεωρητική σκέψη, προκειμένου να τροφοδοτήσει την αρχιτεκτονική έρευνα με νέους τρόπους κατανόησης, αίσθησης και δημιουργίας του χώρου. Συγκεκριμένα, η ερευνητική κινείται σε τρεις διακριτές ενότητες: - Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο εξετάζεται ο ρόλος του σώματος για τη θεώρηση του χώρου και της αρχιτεκτονικής με έμφαση στον 20ο αιώνα. - Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο γίνεται αναφορά στις βασικές θεωρήσεις για τη σωματικότητα από την πλευρά της σύγχρονης θεωρητικής σκέψης. - Τέλος το τρίτο κεφάλαιο εστιάζει σε παραδείγματα από την τέχνη και την αρχιτεκτονική συσχετισμένα με το σώμα και τον χώρο και ειδικότερα στο έργο της φωτογράφου Francesca Woodman και του αρχιτέκτονα-εικαστικού Gordon Matta-Clark. Στόχος της έρευνας είναι η κατανόηση των διαφορετικών αλλά συσχετισμένων προσεγγίσεων γύρω από την έννοια του σώματος στα πεδία της σύγχρονης σκέψης, τέχνης και αρχιτεκτονικής. | el |
| Content Summary | The research paper examines the links between architecture, art and theoretical thinking around the concept of the body in the contemporary epoch. According to the hypothesis of the research, the way in which the body is represented or used in architecture and art is directly interwoven with what is recognised by each particular epoch as a standard in aesthetics, science and ideology. The body captures and recreates this proximity with ideas and aesthetic vehicles that interchange, whilst reconstructing the image and structure of both physicality and space. The body is examined in this light, as a meeting place of successive interpretations of architectural and theoretical thinking, in order to feed architectural research towards new procedures of understanding, feeling and creating space. Specifically, the research moves into three distinct sections: -In the first chapter the role of the body is examined for consideration of space and architecture with emphasis on the twentieth century. -The second chapter is a reference to the basic considerations for the physicality on the part of contemporary theoretical thought. -Finally, the third chapter focuses on examples of art and architecture associated with body and space and in particular the work of photographer Francesca Woodman and architect-artist Gordon Matta-Clark.
