The presented doctoral dissertation deals with the estimation of emission rates from various aerosol sources, which may occur in a wide range of indoor workplace environments. Moreover, substantial increase in particle number and mass concentration may lead to high exposure levels of possibly harmful airborne contaminants. Thus, respiratory protection and human dose are also essential parts of this research work.
