| Content Summary | Ο αγροτικός τομέας και ο τουρισμός αποτελούν βασικούς πυλώνες της ελληνικής οικονομίας. Αυξάνουν σημαντικά το ΑΕΠ της χώρας και μειώνουν το επίπεδο ανεργίας. Αναλύοντας τους δυο αυτούς τομείς συμπεραίνουμε ότι ασκείται έντονη αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ τους, μέσω διαφόρων παραμέτρων οι οποίες εξετάζονται. Στην εργασία αυτή γίνεται αναφορά στην παρούσα κατάσταση, στα στατιστικά στοιχεία που τους αφορούν αλλά και στις ακολουθούμενες πολιτικές και τα εμπλεκόμενα μέρη σε κάθε τομέα. Για την διερεύνηση του θέματος σε πρακτικό επίπεδο επιλέχθηκε ο Νομός Χανίων. Αρχικά χρησιμοποιήθηκαν δεδομένα για τον τουρισμό τα οποία συλλέγονται κάθε χρόνο από τοπικούς φορείς για τις τάσεις στον τουρισμό. Από αυτά τα δεδομένα επιλέχθηκαν εκείνα που εμπλέκονται με τον αγροτικό τομέα. Έπειτα πραγματοποιήθηκε έρευνα μέσω ερωτηματολογίου η οποία απευθύνθηκε σε αγρότες και επιχειρήσεις του αγροδιατροφικού τομέα. Οι ερωτώμενοι απάντησαν σε θέματα που αφορούν τα χαρακτηριστικά της εκμετάλλευσης/επιχείρησής τους, τις δραστηριότητες τις οποίες ασχολούνται, τα προϊόντα τα οποία παράγουν και τα μερίδια πώλησής τους στην αγορά, το εάν ενδιαφέρονται για αγροτουριστικές δραστηριότητες και την άποψή τους σχετικά με την επίδραση του αγροτικού τομέα στον τουρισμό, αλλά και αντίστροφα την επίδραση του τουρισμού στον αγροτικό τομέα. Από τα αποτελέσματα προκύπτει ότι και οι δυο τομείς επιδρούν θετικά ο ένας στον άλλον μέσω συγκεκριμένων παραγόντων επίδρασης. | el |
| Content Summary | The agricultural sector and the tourism are key pillars of the Greek economy. They significantly increase the country's GDP and reduce the level of unemployment. Analyzing these two areas we conclude that there is a strong interaction between them through various parameters that are examined. This paper presents the current status and statistics for them and the policies and stakeholders involved in each area. In order to investigate the matter at a practical level a survey was conducted in the Prefecture of Chania. Initially, tourism data were used which are collected each year by local agencies investigating the tourism trends. The data where involved with the agricultural sector were selected. Afterward a questionnaire survey was conducted to farmers and agri-food businesses. Respondents answered questions about the characteristics of their holding / business, the activities they are engaged in, the products they produce and their market shares, if they are interested in agro-tourism activities and their views on the impact of the agricultural sector on tourism, and vice versa on the impact of tourism on the agricultural sector. The results show that the majority of agricultural enterprises in the Prefecture are engaged in the production and trade of agricultural products, the main product categories being olive oil, wine and “tsikoudia & other spirits”, while the majority of products are sold to wholesalers. There is a fairly high percentage of interested people in the agricultural sector for agro-tourism activities. Those who are already engaged, do it mainly to promote their products, since most of the times the entrance is for free. Finally, the majority believes that both sectors have a positive impact on each other through specific factors of influence. | en |
