| Content Summary | Η εργασία εξετάζει τις σχέσεις της αρχιτεκτονικής με την αρχαιοαστρονομία, μία σύνθετη επιστήμη η οποία χρησιμοποιεί αρχαιολογικές μεθόδους και την εφαρμογή της σφαιρικής αστρονομίας με σκοπό την κατανόηση των αντιλήψεων των αρχαίων λαών για τον ουρανό, αναλύοντας τα υλικά τεκμήρια που έχουν αφήσει. Έλκοντας συμπεράσματα από την ανάλογη σχέση της αρχιτεκτονικής με την αρχαιολογία, η εργασία προσπαθεί να διακρίνει αντίστοιχες σχέσεις της πρώτης με την αρχαιοαστρονομία, και να οριοθετήσει τον ρόλο της μέσα στο διεπιστημονικό φάσμα της. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται παρουσιάζοντας τις βασικές έννοιες της αρχαιοαστρονομίας, την μεθοδολογία της και παραδείγματά της, εξετάζοντας ταυτόχρονα τις αντίστοιχες υποχρεώσεις, τις δυνατότητες και τις προοπτικές της αρχιτεκτονικής εντός του πεδίου της αρχαιοαστρονομίας, τόσο σε θεωρητικό, όσο και σε πρακτικό επίπεδο. Τέλος, τίθεται το ερώτημα κατά πόσο μπορεί η αρχαιοαστρονομία να συνομιλήσει με την σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική, και παρουσιάζονται μερικά παραδείγματα σύγχρονης αρχιτεκτονικής με ενδιαφέροντες αστρονομικούς συσχετισμούς. | el |
| Content Summary | This dissertation looks into the relationship between architecture and archaeoastronomy, a composite science that uses archaeological methods and positional astronomy in order to understand the perception of ancient people about the heaven by analysing the material record left by them. Drawing conclusions from the analogous relation of architecture and archaeology, the dissertation tries to distinguish the commensurable relations of the former with archaeoastronomy, and to define its role within its scope. This is achieved by presenting the fundamental concepts of archaeoastronomy, its methodology and its examples, examining simultaneously the corresponding obligations, the potentials and the perspective of architecture in the field of archaeoastronomy, on both theoretical and practical levels. Finally, the question about the possibility of a discussion between archaeoastronomy and modern architecture is brought up, and some examples of modern architecture with interesting astronomical relations are presented. | en |
