| Content Summary | Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία επιχειρεί τη διερεύνηση και την αξιολόγηση του τρόπου με τον οποίο οι υπαίθριοι αστικοί χώροι πρασίνου μικρής κλίμακας, τα «Πάρκα Τσέπης», ως πράσινες υποδομές του αστικού τοπίου, μπορούν να συμβάλλουν ουσιαστικά στη βιωσιμότητα, την αειφορία και τη συνοχή του πυκνού αστικού ιστού. Στο πρώτο στάδιο, θεωρώντας τα Πάρκα Τσέπης ως χώρους επέμβασης του αστικού και του πολεοδομικού σχεδιασμού, επιχειρείται η σύνδεσή τους με το τοπίο, το φυσικό και το αστικό περιβάλλον. Γίνεται, έτσι, αναφορά στις αρχές της Τοπιακής Πολεοδομίας, η οποία εξετάζει τη σύζευξη της φύσης και της πόλης, δημιουργώντας το αστικό τοπίο. Στο επόμενο στάδιο, μελετώνται η σημασία, η μορφή, η λειτουργία και οι κατηγορίες του πρασίνου στον αστικό ιστό, εισάγoντας την έννοια των Πάρκων Τσέπης, ως βασική κατηγορία του αστικού πρασίνου και ως συστατικά στοιχεία του δικτύου πρασίνου. Επιπλέον, παρουσιάζονται τα οφέλη τους σε επίπεδο περιβαλλοντικό, κοινωνικό, ψυχολογικό, οικονομικό, ανθρωπιστικό, πολιτισμικό και αισθητικό. Επιπρόσθετα, καταγράφονται οι γενικές σχεδιαστικές κατευθύνσεις για τη δημιουργία των Πάρκων Τσέπης. Τέλος, πραγματοποιείται ανάλυση και περιγραφή 8 επιλεγμένων Πάρκων Τσέπης, από τη διεθνή εμπειρία, κατανεμημένων σε 4 κατηγορίες. Αυτές περιλαμβάνουν τη στάση – αναψυχή, τους χώρους εισόδου – υποδοχής, το παιχνίδι και τους πράσινους διαδρόμους κίνησης με πολυλειτουργικό και ευέλικτο χαρακτήρα. Η ανάλυση των παραδειγμάτων περιλαμβάνει την πολεοδομική μελέτη, καταγραφή και απεικόνιση των δικτύων και των χρήσεων που επικρατούν γύρω από αυτά, καθώς και την περιγραφή της κεντρικής ιδέας σχεδιασμού, της χρήσης φύτευσης, του αστικού εξοπλισμού καθώς και τα αποτελέσματα που επέφεραν τα Πάρκα Τσέπης στην εκάστοτε περιοχή. | el |
| Content Summary | The present study attempts to investigate and evaluate the way in which small-scale urban green spaces, the "Pocket Parks", as green infrastructures of urban landscape, can contribute substantially to the viability, sustainability and cohesion of dense urban web. In the first step, considering the Pocket Parks as areas of intervention of urban design and planning, it attempts to establish connection with the landscape, the natural and the urban environment. Thus, reference is made to the principles of Landscape Urbanism, which examines the connection of nature and the city, creating the urban landscape. In the next step, this study focuses on the importance, form, function and categories of green in the urban fabric, introducing the concept of Pocket Parks, as a basic category of urban green and as components of the green network. In addition, there is a description of their environmental, social, psychological, economic, humanitarian, cultural and aesthetic benefits. Furthermore, a reference is made to the general design guidelines for the creation of Pocket Parks. Finally, there is an extensive analysis and description of 8 selected examples of Pocket Parks, from the international experience, distributed in 4 categories. These include the leisure, the entrance areas, the game and the green corridors with a multifunctional and flexible character. The analysis of the examples includes the urban study and illustration of the networks and the uses that exist around them, as well as the description of the central design idea, the use of planting, the urban equipment and the results brought by the Pocket Parks in each area. | en |
