| Content Summary | Είναι σαφές στις μέρες μας ότι στο σύνολο της πολιτισμικής κληρονομιάς, την οποία οφείλουμε να διαφυλάξουμε, δεν περιλαμβάνονται μόνο η υλική παραγωγή των τεχνών, τα κτήρια ή τα οικιστικά συγκροτήματα, αλλά, επίσης, και όλες εκείνες οι σχέσεις που οι ανθρώπινες κοινότητες συγκροτούν στον τόπο διαμονής τους, στο πλαίσιο της ιστορίας και της παράδοσής τους, οι οποίες, τελικώς, συν-διαμορφώνουν την ταυτότητα του τόπου. Άλλωστε η λέξη πολιτιστικός προέρχεται από τη λέξη πολιτισμός, δηλαδή το σύνολο της υλικής και άυλης δημιουργίας ενός λαού στη διάρκεια της εξέλιξής του, παραπομπή που οδηγεί αβίαστα τη σκέψη μας στην άμεση σύνδεση της έννοιας με την ταυτότητα ενός λαού. Έχοντας ως δεδομένα τα παραπάνω, η θεματική της συγκεκριμένης μελέτης εξαρχής τοποθετήθηκε στα πλαίσια της σχέσης τοπίου-μνημείου. Ο αρχιτεκτονικός σχεδιασμός της συγκεκριμένης μελέτης στόχο έχει την αποκατάσταση, αναβίωση και ανάδειξη ενός πολιτισμικού τοπίου και την ανάσυρση της μνήμης και της ταυτότητάς του, δημιουργώντας ένα νέο τόπο συμβίωσης, ένα τοπίο όπου φύση, σύγχρονος άνθρωπος και ανθρώπινες δομές βρίσκονται σε άμεση συσχέτιση. Το γνώριμο προσωπικά τοπίο της Κρήτης εξαρχής υπήρξε η βάση της αναζήτησης, καθώς φανερώνει σε πολλά σημεία και στο βάθος του χρόνου και της ιστορίας του τη συνδιαλλαγή του ανθρώπου με τον τόπο του. Θέμα μελέτης και σχεδιασμού επιλέγεται το τοπίο του Οροπεδίου Λασιθίου. Εστιάζοντας στην περιοχή Σελί Αμπέλου και σε μια σειρά ανεμόμυλων οι οποίοι ήταν εγκατεστημένοι εκεί και σήμερα παραμένουν ανενεργοί, η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρεί το μετασχηματισμό και την αποκατάσταση του παραμελημένου πολιτισμικού και παραγωγικού τοπίου, διατηρώντας τη μνήμη του παλαιότερου τρόπου χρήσης του από τον άνθρωπο και δημιουργώντας μια νέα τοπιακή οντότητα. | el |
| Content Summary | Nowadays, it is clear that cultural heritage, which must be preserved, includes not only the material production of arts, buildings or residential complexes, but also all those relationships that human communities form in their place of living, in the context of their history and tradition, which, ultimately, co-shape the identity of the place. After all, the word cultural comes from the word culture, that is, the totality of the material and intangible creation of a group of people during its evolution, a reference that effortlessly leads our thoughts to the direct connection of the concept with the identity of these people. Given the above, the theme of this study from the beginning was placed in the context of the landscape-monument relationship. The architectural design of this study aims to restore, revive and highlight a cultural landscape and retrieve its memory and identity, creating a new place of coexistence, a landscape where nature, modern man and man-made structures are directly related. The personally familiar landscape of Crete has been the basis of the search from the beginning, as it reveals in many places and in the depths of time and history the reconciliation of man with his place. The landscape of the Lassithi Plateau is chosen as the subject of this study and design. Focusing on the “Seli Ampelou” area and a series of windmills that were installed there and today remain inactive, this dissertation attempts to transform and restore the neglected cultural and productive landscape, preserving the memory of its ancient human use and creating a new local entity. | en |
