| Content Summary | Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία επιχειρεί να διερευνήσει την έννοια της μνήμης ως πρωτογενές στοιχείο της ανθρώπινης νόησης και ύπαρξης μέσα από τις χωρικές της υποστυλώσεις στην ατομική και στη συλλογική σφαίρα. Η εργασία εκκινεί από την διάκριση του φιλοσόφου Paul Ricoeur, ο οποίος ταξινομώντας τις θεωρητικές παραδόσεις που εξέτασαν το φαινόμενο της αναμνηστικής λειτουργίας από την αρχαιότητα και έπειτα διέκρινε δύο σχολές: την «παράδοση του εσωτερικού βλέμματος» και εκείνη του «εξωτερικού βλέμματος». Λαμβάνοντας σαν αφετηρία σκέψης αυτή τη διάκριση μελετάται η πόλη και τα μνημεία ως μια «εξωτερική» ανάγνωση της μνήμης για να καταλήξουμε στην «εσωτερική» ή προσωπική ανάγνωση της μνήμης που έχει αποκτήσει ο άνθρωπος στο χώρο του σπιτιού των παιδικών χρόνων. Γίνεται ουσιαστικά μια από τα έξω προς τα μέσα, ή από το γενικό στο ειδικό ανάγνωση των πεδίων της μνήμης που καθορίζουν την ανθρώπινη υπόσταση και το παρόν που βιώνει. | el |
| Content Summary | This thesis attempts to investigate the meaning of memory as a primary element of human cognition and existence through its spatial aspects in the personal and the collective sphere. The thesis initiates from a distinction the philosopher Paul Ricoeur makes. While investigating the theoretical traditions that examined the function of memory from antiquity onwards, he distinguishes two schools of thought: the “tradition of the inner eye” and the “tradition of the external eye”. Taking this as starting point, the city and the monuments are examined as the “external” memory to arrive to the “inner” memory that individuals acquire in their childhood home. An out-to-inwards or a general-to-specific approach is taken to aspects of memory that determine human condition and the experience of the present. | en |
