| Περίληψη | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής μεταπτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η Οικία Σεϊμένη, μία χαρακτηριστική σφακιανή διώροφη κατοικία, πιθανώς του 18ου αιώνα, που βρίσκεται στο χωριό Ανώπολη του Δήμου Σφακίων. Καθώς αποτελεί μεσοτοιχία με την διπλανή αξιόλογη, αλλά ελάχιστα διασωζόμενη, βενετσιάνικη κατοικία, πιθανώς των αρχών του 17ου αιώνα, για την πληρέστερη και καλύτερη μελέτη και προτεινόμενη αντιμετώπιση, συμπεριλήφθηκε και αυτή στην πρόταση αποκατάστασης και επανάχρησης. Πρόκειται για δύο σημαντικά κτίρια της Κρητικής υπαίθρου, τα οποία έχουν εγκαταλειφθεί, με άμεσο κίνδυνο την ολοκληρωτική καταστροφή τους. Ο σκοπός της εργασίας αυτής είναι αρχικά η αρχιτεκτονική και φωτογραφική τεκμηρίωση και αποτύπωση της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης της οικίας, η μελέτη και περιγραφή της, καθώς και η συσχέτιση και σύγκρισή της με άλλα αντίστοιχα παραδείγματα κατοικιών στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Κρήτης και ειδικότερα του Δήμου Σφακίων, με σκοπό την κατανόηση της δομής της και της τυπολογίας της. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται μέσα από τη μελέτη και την ανάλυση της σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας, της συζήτησης με κατοίκους του οικισμού, καθώς και της επιτόπιας παρατήρησης, αποτύπωσης και ανάλυσης της αρχιτεκτονικής μορφής, του αρχιτεκτονικού τύπου και της μορφολογίας, αλλά και της παθολογίας του κτιρίου, που καταλήγει σε πρόταση αποκατάστασης με τις απαραίτητες μόνο επεμβάσεις, που σέβονται την αρχική δομή του κτιρίου, χωρίς να αλλοιώνουν το χαρακτήρα του, και χρησιμοποιώντας συμβατά υλικά κατασκευής. Βασικός στόχος είναι η αρμονική συνύπαρξη παλαιού και νέου και η ομαλή ενσωμάτωση της νέας χρήσης στο αρχικό κέλυφος, σταματώντας την περαιτέρω καταστροφή του κτιρίου. Η Οικία Σεϊμένη προτείνεται να μετατραπεί σε Μουσείο του Βοσκού & Συλλογής Υφαντών. Η διπλανή ενετική κατοικία αποτυπώνεται όσο είναι δυνατόν καλύτερα, λόγω της κακής κατάστασής της, και προτείνεται η συντήρηση, αποκατάσταση και επανασύνδεσή της με την Οικία Σεϊμένη, που θα αποτελέσει το βασικό χώρο στέγασης του μουσείου. Το μουσείο αυτό θα περιλαμβάνει κυρίως υφαντά της περιοχής, καθώς και ένα τμήμα σχετικά με την ζωή στην ύπαιθρο στην ευρύτερη περιοχή και τις κτηνοτροφικές δραστηριότητες, στοιχεία που αποτελούσαν από παλιά μέρος του τυπικού κρητικού σπιτιού. Παράλληλα, σκοπός είναι η διαχείριση και ο σχεδιασμός του ευρύτερου εξωτερικού χώρου στον οποίο βρίσκονται τα κτίρια, ώστε να ενταχθούν αρμονικά στο φυσικό περιβάλλον τους, μέσα από έναν ενιαίο σχεδιασμό. Μπορούν, επομένως, να χαρακτηριστούν αυτά τα δύο δείγματα κτιρίων εκφραστές της Κρητικής Αρχιτεκτονικής στην περιοχή. | el |
| Περίληψη | The object of this dissertation is the Seimeni House, a typical two-storey house of Sfakia, probably of the 18th century, located in the village of Anopoli in the Municipality of Sfakia. As it is attached with the adjacent remarkable, but little preserved, Venetian house, probably from the beginning of the 17th century, for better approach of the study, it was also included in the proposal of the restoration and reuse. These are two important buildings of the Cretan countryside, which have been abandoned, with immediate danger of their complete destruction. The purpose of this work is initially the architectural and photographic documentation and surveying of the current condition of the house, its study and description, as well as its correlation and comparison with other corresponding examples of houses in the wider area of Crete and in particular the Municipality of Sfakia, in order to understand its structure and typology. This is achieved through the study and analysis of the relevant bibliography, as well as on-site observation, mapping and analysis of the architectural form, the architectural type and morphology, but also the pathology of the building, which results in a restoration proposal with only the necessary interventions, which respects the original structure of the building, without tampering its character, and using compatible construction materials. The main goal is the harmonious coexistence of old and new and the smooth integration of the new use in the original shell, stopping further destruction of the building. The Seimeni House is proposed to be transformed into a Museum of Shepherd & Weaving Collection. The adjacent Venetian house is surveyed as best as possible, due to its poor condition, and its maintenance, restoration and reconnection with the Seimeni House is proposed, in which it will be the main accommodation of the museum. This museum will include mainly woven fabrics of the area, as well as a section on rural life in the general area and livestock activities, elements that were, from the past, part of the typical Cretan rural house. In addition, a similar, with the old, spatial organization of the new functions and uses of the spaces of the house is followed. In this way, the physiognomy and authenticity of the building is preserved, even semantically. Also, a space of workshops - presentations will be created in the yard, in order to carry out periodic educational programs for students and visitors, which will concern both the acquaintance with the architecture of the buildings, and better understanding of these traditional works (weaving, cheese making, etc.). At the same time, the purpose is the design of the general outdoor space in which the buildings are located, in order to integrate harmoniously into their natural environment, through a comprehensive planning. The proposed intervention will emphasize the historical, environmental and educational dimension of the complex. The historical dimension concerns the preservation and promotion of the architectural heritage of the buildings and the promotion of their importance as typical examples of the Cretan country house, through an exhibition-museum space. The environmental dimension is sought through the harmonious integration of the whole complex in its natural environment, with the creation of outdoor reception areas and the connection of the buildings. Finally, the educational dimension concerns the uses that will be included for the creation of the organized small museum, which will be for old and young, a living memory and a tangible sample of the traditional rural life and local production of the place. Therefore, these two examples of buildings can be characterized as exponents of Cretan Architecture in the area. | en |
