| Content Summary | Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζονται οι μέθοδοι επεξεργασίας και αξιοποίησης των παραγόμενων βιοαποβλήτων του Δήμου Αγίου Δημητρίου (Αττικής). Ο Δήμος Αγίου Δημητρίου αποτελεί έναν πολυπληθή Δήμο και η έρευνα για τη διαχείριση των βιοαποβλήτων θεωρείται επιβεβλημένη. Στο ερευνητικό μέρος της εργασίας συντάχθηκε ένα ερωτηματολόγιο 32 ερωτήσεων, το οποίο απευθυνόταν σε δημότες του Δήμου Αγίου Δημητρίου. Το περιεχόμενο των ερωτήσεων ήταν βασισμένο στην αξιολόγηση της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης αποκομιδής των απορριμμάτων και καθαριότητας του Δήμου καθώς και για τις γνωστές μεθόδους επεξεργασίας των αποβλήτων. Στη συνέχεια εισήχθη ο όρος των βιοαποβλήτων στο ερωτηματολόγιο με στόχο την ενημέρωση των πολιτών για τα περιεχόμενα είδη των αποβλήτων καθώς και τους τρόπους επεξεργασίας τους. Τέλος, στόχος του ερωτηματολογίου ήταν να ερευνηθεί η γνώμη των κατοίκων για την ανέγερση μίας εγκατάστασης επεξεργασίας των βιοαποβλήτων στον Δήμο Αγίου Δημητρίου. Στη συνέχεια, αναλύθηκαν οι δύο προτεινόμενες μέθοδοι επεξεργασίας των βιοαποβλήτων «Κομποστοποίηση» και «Αναερόβια Χώνευση», αναφέρθηκαν τα βήματα επεξεργασίας των βιοαποβλήτων, καθώς και τα παραγόμενα προϊόντα, compost και βιοαέριο. Με βάση τις διεργασίες που είχαν ήδη περιγραφεί έγινε μία προσέγγιση υπολογισμού των προϊόντων σύμφωνα με τα δεδομένα – βιοαπόβλητα του Αγίου Δημητρίου. Ενδεικτικά, αναφέρεται ότι από τις παραγόμενες ποσότητες βιοαποβλήτων του Δήμου Αγίου Δημητρίου υπολογίστηκε ότι παράγονται 2646.54 tn/ έτος compost και αντίστοιχα 106 m3/ έτος μεθανίου. Τέλος, τα οφέλη που προκύπτουν από την επεξεργασία των βιοαποβλήτων είναι πολυάριθμα για το περιβάλλον και την οικονομία. Η επιλογής της βέλτιστης διεργασίας για τα βιοαπόβλητα του Δήμου Αγίου Δημητρίου αποτελεί σημαντικό μέρος της παρούσας εργασίας. Επιπλέον, εξετάζονται οι τρόποι βελτίωσης των διεργασιών με στόχο την αύξηση των παραγόμενων ποσοτήτων – προϊόντων, ενώ παράλληλα τονίζεται η σημαντικότητα της ενημέρωσης των πολιτών για την επίτευξη της Διαλογής στην Πηγή μέσω διαφόρων εργαλείων. | el |
| Content Summary | In the present study, it was examined the management methods of biowaste produced in the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios (Attica). The Municipality of Agios Dimitrios is a large municipality and therefore the research on biowaste management is considered imperative. Initially, a questionnaire of 32 questions was prepared, which was addressed to citizens of the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios. The content of the questions assessed the current situation of waste collection and the level of cleanliness of the Municipality as well as the known methods of waste treatment. Then, the definition of biowaste was introduced in the questionnaire to inform the citizens about the contents of the wastes as well their treatment. Another goal of the questionnaire was to seek their opinion for the construction of a biowaste treatment plant in the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios. Also, the two proposed methods of treatment of biowaste "Composting" and "Anaerobic Digestion" were analyzed, whereas the steps of biowaste treatment as well as the produced products, compost and biogas were analyzed. In addition, based on the processes that had described, a product calculation approach was made according to the data - bio-waste of Agios Dimitrios. From the produced quantities of biowaste of the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios it was estimated that 2646.54 tn / year of compost is produced and approximately 106 m3/ year of methane. Finally, the benefits of biowaste treatment are numerous for the environment and the economy. The selection of the optimal process for biowaste management for the Municipality of Agios Dimitrios is an important part of this work. In addition, the ways of improving the processes with the aim of increasing the produced quantities - products are examined, while at the same time the importance of informing the citizens for the achievement of the Sorting at the Source through various tools is emphasized. | en |
