| Content Summary | Ο παράκτιος χώρος της Ιεράπετρας βρίσκεται ευάλωτος απέναντι στο φαινόμενο της διάβρωσης των ακτών, που κατά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες έχει προκαλέσει σημαντική αλλοίωση της ακτογραμμής της περιοχής. Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζεται η μεταβολή της ακτογραμμής της Ιεράπετρας, η οποία ως απόρροια ανθρωπογενούς διάβρωσης βρίσκεται άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με τις συνέπειες του παράκτιου χωρικού σχεδιασμού. Η μελέτη της πόλης από ιστορική και πολεοδομική σκοπιά δημιουργεί τη βάση πάνω στην οποία βασίζεται στη συνέχεια η ανάλυση των αεροφωτογραφιών της πόλης και του παράκτιου χώρου της ώστε να διερευνηθούν οι μεταβολές που έχουν συντελεστεί. Η εργασία στοχεύει να συνδέσει τις αλλαγές στον παράκτιο χώρο της περιοχής μελέτης με την οικονομική ανάπτυξη και το χωρικό σχεδιασμό, προκειμένου να αξιολογήσει τον τρόπο που οι ανθρωπογενείς δραστηριότητες διαμορφώνουν τις παράκτιες ζώνες αλλά και την αποτελεσματικότητα του χωρικού σχεδιασμού για την προστασία τους. | el |
| Content Summary | The coastal area of Ierapetra has been vulnerable to the phenomenon of coastal erosion, which in recent decades has caused significant alteration of the coastline of the area. This paper examines the change in the coastline of Ierapetra, which as a result of anthropogenic erosion is inextricably linked to coastal spatial planning failures. The study of the city from a historical and urban point of view creates the basis on which the analysis of aerial photographs of the city and its coastal area is based in order to investigate the changes that have taken place. The work aims to link the changes in the coastal area of the study area with economic development and spatial planning, in order to evaluate the way anthropogenic activities shape coastal zones and the effectiveness of spatial planning for their protection. | en |
