| Content Summary | Στόχος της διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη αντιπροσωπευτικών πρωτοκόλλων τυχαίας πολλαπλής πρόσβασης με ελεύθερη ή μη πρώτη μετάδοση νέου πακέτου από τους χρήστες και η σύγκρισή τους προκειμένου να προκύψουν χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα σχετικά με την αποδοτικότητα της λειτουργίας τους. Η σύγκριση αυτή αφορά στο μέγιστο throughput κάθε πρωτοκόλλου και στην συμπεριφορά τόσο της μέσης τιμής, όσο και της αθροιστικής συνάρτησης κατανομής της καθυστέρησης πακέτου. Τα πρωτόκολλα που μελετήθηκαν και προσομοιώθηκαν περιλαμβάνουν το ασταθές, το ιδανικό ευσταθές και το υλοποιήσιμο ευσταθές Aloha, καθώς και τους ευσταθείς αλγορίθμους στοίβας, τον m-ary και τον Two-cell. | el |
| Content Summary | The goal of the Thesis is the study of various random multiple access protocols with free or blocked first transmission by the users and their comparison in order to draw useful conclusions about the efficiency of their operation. This comparison concerns the maximum throughput of each protocol and the behavior of both the mean packet delay and the cumulative distribution function of the packet delay. The protocols studied via simulation include the unstable, ideal stable and implementable stable Aloha and the stable algorithms m-ary stack and Two-cell stack. | en |
