This dissertation explores the methodology of using The Sims 4 game, of the The Sims video game series, in the early stages of producing architectural designs in order for the architect to communicate with the client-user so as to understand his design desires. Initially, to examine the game's possibilities, an experiment was conducted with 30 participants from all over the world, regardless of age, gender and previous experience with The Sims game, who completed 5 tasks related to construction, furnishing and renovation of houses by themselves, in the game environment. Each assignment had specific requirements and limitations that the participants took into account. After each task, participants answered questionnaires about the process they followed, the tools they used and the constraints they encountered. The answers and results of the participants were compiled in tables in order to draw conclusions about the possibilities of the game, their interaction with the game and the analysis - translation of their design decisions. Then, three people were selected for the construction of houses in the game based on their personal needs and desires, which were analyzed and based on these, the design of the houses with real parameters and final study plans was completed. It was concluded through the reduction of the game's virtual constructions to real, that The Sims 4 game can be a tool that enables users to visualize their design thoughts, to actively participate in the design process by reformulating and upgrading the spatial experience in process and the initial stages of architectural design.
