| Content Summary | Η εξορυκτική δραστηριότητα αποτέλεσε από τα αρχαία χρόνια μια σημαντική ενέργεια του ανθρώπου που συντέλεσε στην οικονομική και πολιτιστική ανάπτυξη της ανθρώπινης κοινωνίας. Ωστόσο, αποτελεί και μια δραστηριότητα που επηρεάζει σημαντικά το φυσικό περιβάλλον, προκαλώντας μια σειρά από επιπτώσεις, αναστρέψιμες ή μη, που οδηγούν στην υποβάθμισή της περιοχής και στην οπτική αλλοίωση του τοπίου. Ο αντίκτυπος που δημιουργείται στο περιβάλλον είναι μεγάλος και οι προβληματισμοί σε επίπεδο προστασίας του τοπίου και των οικοσυστημάτων, αυξάνονται συνεχώς. Τέτοιου είδους επιπτώσεις, μπορούν να προβλεφθούν και να αντιμετωπιστούν οργανωνοντας και σχεδιάζοντας μελέτη για την αποκατάσταση του τοπίου. Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρεί να προσεγγίσει το θέμα της αναδιαμόρφωσης και αποκατάστασης ενός λατομικού τοπίου. Η πρόταση περιλαμβάνει τη φυτοτεχνική αποκατάσταση στις βαθμίδες του λατομείου με χρήση κατάλληλων φυτικών ειδών, καθώς και τη αξιοποίηση της πλατείας του λατομείου μέσω της δημιουργίας ενός βοτανικού κήπου. Βασικοί στόχοι της εργασίας είναι η περιβαλλοντική αποκατάσταση της περιοχής και η επανένταξη της στο φυσικό περιβάλλον, η ομαλή αισθητική και λειτουργική σύνδεση της συνολικά με το τοπίο αλλά και η χρήση ξανά του χώρου από τους ανθρώπους που βρίσκονται σε άμεση σύνδεση με αυτή. Το προτεινόμενο σχέδιο αποκατάστασης συνοδεύεται από σχέδιο γενικής οργάνωσης του χώρου σε 2 διαφορετικές κλίμακες αλλά και από εικόνες – απόψεις από το τρισδιάστατο μοντέλο της πρότασης, με στόχο την καλύτερη δυνατή απεικόνιση της τελικής μορφής του χώρου. | el |
| Content Summary | Mining activity has been main human activity since ancient times, contributing to economic and cultural development of human society. However, it is also an activity that has a significant impact in the natural environment, causing a series of effects, whether reversible or not, leading to the degradation of the area and the visual alteration of the landscape. Such impacts can be anticipated and dealt with by organizing and planning a landscape restoration study. This thesis attempts to approach the issue of reconfiguration and restoration of a quarry landscape. The proposal includes the Phyto-technical rehabilitation of the quarry steps using appropriate plant species and the use of the quarry square through of creation of a botanical garden. The main objectives are the environmental restoration of the area and its reintegration into the natural environment, the smooth aesthetic and functional integration of the site into the landscape and the re-use of the site by the people directly associated with it. The proposed restoration plan is accompanied by a plan of the general organization of the site in 2 different scales and by images - views from the 3D model of the proposal, aiming at the best possible representation of the final form of the site. | en |
