| Content Summary | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρεί μια σειρά επεμβάσεων στον εγκαταλελειμμένο Ενετικό οικισμό Ετιά της Π. Ε. Λασιθίου, Κρήτης, με στόχο την ενεργοποίηση του. Αρχικά, οργανώνεται ο δημόσιος χώρος του οικισμού με τις ανάλογες αστικές διαμορφώσεις. Δημιουργείται ένα δίκτυο κινήσεων και στάσεων που διατρέχει όλο τον οικισμό. Το δίκτυο αυτό αποκαθιστά τη πρόσβαση στους εγκαταλελειμμένους ναούς και συνδέει τα επιμέρους σημεία ενδιαφέροντος. Επιπρόσθετα, σχεδιάζεται πρόταση αποκατάστασης των υφιστάμενων κτισμάτων του οικισμού προκειμένου να χρησιμοποιηθούν στη πλειοψηφία τους ως κατοικίες. Ακόμα, στο κατεστραμμένο τμήμα του οικισμού, όπου δημιουργείται πολεοδομική ασυνέχεια μεταξύ των συμπαγών οικιστικών νησίδων και της έπαυλης ντε Μετζο, προτείνεται ένταξη αγροτικών εργαστηρίων και νέων κατοικιών που παράλληλα αποκαθιστούν αυτή τη σύνδεση. Πιο συγκεκριμένα τα εργαστήρια έχουν συλλογικό χαρακτήρα και στεγάζουν χρήσεις επεξεργασίας και τυποποίησης βοτάνων. Σκοπός μας ήταν ο οικισμός να αποκτήσει ένα χρηστικό χώρο που θα κινητοποιήσει την από κοινού δράση και θα ένισχύσει την αγροτική ταυτότητα του οικισμού. Η συγκεκριμένη χρήση επιλέχθηκε λόγω της αυξημένης παραγωγής βοτάνων στο οροπέδιο τα τελευταία χρόνια από νέους παραγωγούς καθώς και της έλλειψης αντίστοιχων δομών στη περιοχή. Όσο για τις νέες κατοικίες σχεδιάζεται μια τυπολογία με βιοκλιματικά χαρακτηριστικά, η οποία μπορεί να επαναληφθεί σειριακά και με παραλλαγές στη μελλοντική επέκταση του οικισμού.Προκειμένου να επιτευχθεί η καλύτερη ένταξη των νέων κτιρίων στον ιστό του οικισμού συντάχθηκε λεξιλόγιο συνθετικών εργαλείων από μοτίβα, χωρικές σχέσεις ενδιάμεσων χώρων και αναλογίες που παρατηρουνται στο υφιστάμενο κτιριακό απόθεμα. | el |
| Content Summary | The present thesis attempts a series of interventions in the abandoned Venetian settlement of Etia, in the Prefecture of Lassithi, Crete, aiming at its activation. Initially, the public space of the settlement is organized with the corresponding urban configurations. A network of movements and stops is created that runs throughout the settlement. This network restores access to the abandoned churches and connects the individual points of interest. In addition, a proposal is planned to restore the existing buildings in the settlement so that the majority of them can be used for residential purposes. Furthermore, in the ruined part of the settlement, where there is an urban discontinuity between the compact residential islands and the de Metzo vila, it is proposed to integrate agricultural workshops and new housing, which will also restore this link. In particular, the workshops are of a collective nature and house herb processing and standardization uses. Our aim was to provide the settlement with a usable space that will encourage collective action and reinforce the rural identity of the settlement. This particular use was chosen because of the increased production of herbs on the plateau in recent years by new producers and the lack of similar structures in the area. As for the new dwellings, a typology with bioclimatic characteristics is designed, which can be repeated serially and with variations in the future expansion of the settlement. In order to achieve a better integration of the new buildings into the settlement's fabric, a vocabulary of compositional tools was compiled from patterns, spatial relationships of intermediate spaces and proportions observed in the existing building stock. | en |
