| Content Summary | Η διπλωματική παρουσιάζει μια πρόταση συμμετοχής στον διαγωνισμό Serpentine Pavilion, ένα ετήσιο αρχιτεκτονικό γεγονός που διεξάγεται στο Λονδίνο από το 2000. Βασισμένο στα ευρήματα της ερευνητικής ''Η αντίληψη του ελαφρού στην αρχιτεκτονική- Μια μελέτη αρχιτεκτονικών χειρισμών για τη δημιουργία ενός οπτικού και κατασκευαστικού συντακτικού'', το περίπτερο αποσκοπεί στην εξερεύνηση και εφαρμογή των αρχιτεκτονικών χειρισμών που βρέθηκε ότι επικοινωνούν την αίσθηση της ελαφρότητας. Για την επίτευξη αυτού του σκοπού τα ευρήματα παραμετροποιούνται και ο σχεδιασμός γίνεται με την χρήση του προγράμματος grasshopper. Δεδομένου ότι ο διαγωνισμός Serpentine Pavilion προωθεί την εφευρετικότητα και την καινοτομία, ενώ παράλληλα προσελκύει κοινό από πολλούς διαφορετικούς επαγγελματικούς κλάδους, αποτελεί ιδανική ευκαιρία για την πρακτική εφαρμογή των ερευνητικών ευρυμάτων. Το περίπτερο, πέρα από τα παραπάνω, αναμένεται να συνδυάζει αισθητική και λειτουργικότητα προάγοντας την πειραματική αρχιτεκτονική και την σχεδίαση με επίκεντρο τον χρήστη. | el |
| Content Summary | The thesis presents a proposal for participation in the Serpentine Pavilion competition, an annual architectural event held in London since 2000. Based on the findings of the research "The perception of lightness in architecture - A study of architectural manipulations for the creation of a visual and constructive syntax", the pavilion aims to explore and apply the architectural manipulations that were found to communicate the sensation of lightness. To achieve this purpose, the findings are parameterized and the design is done using the program ‘’Grasshopper’’. Given that the Serpentine Pavilion competition inventiveness and innovation, while simultaneously attracting audiences from many different professional fields, it constitutes an ideal opportunity for the practical application of the research findings. The pavilion, beyond the above, is expected to combine aesthetics and functionality promoting experimental architecture and user-centric design. | en |
