Summary

Near Anogeia, at an altitude of approximately 1500 meters, where the forgotten shell of an old ski resort in the Nida plateau has been located for thirty years, the northeastern slopes of Psiloritis and the rich historical element of the area form the backdrop for the creation of a new attraction for ski and mountain enthusiasts. Τhe subject of this thesis is the creation of a modern and sustainable model of a ski resort that can operate year-round. Restoration of the existing old shell is carried out, and a new supporting unit (shelter) integrated into the landscape is created, with necessary uses to serve the guests as well as the ski slopes. Additional synthetic principles adopted in the design include the formation of outdoor gathering spaces with a central square that serves as the articulation point between the two units. Lastly, within the context of activating the broader area and aiming to showcase the culture and traditional settlements, a hiking trail and various activities are created, incorporating the E4 route with stations at points of interest. The pronounced geomorphology and the dry-stone constructions encountered along the route constitute an intermediate condition of "encounter" between wildlife, society, tradition, and memory.
