| Content Summary | Τα Ιστορικά Κέντρα των πόλεων της Ευρώπης αντιμετωπίζουν συνεχώς προκλήσεις από τις ταχέως μεταβαλλόμενες κοινωνικές, οικονομικές και περιβαλλοντικές συνθήκες της σύγχρονης εποχής. Η διατήρηση της ισορροπίας ανάμεσα στην διαφύλαξη της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς και την κοινωνικό-οικονομική ανάπτυξη μιας ιστορικής πόλης δε μπορεί πλέον να πραγματοποιείται με παραδοσιακούς τρόπους και απαιτούνται ολοκληρωμένες πολιτικές. Αντικείμενο της παρούσας ερευνητικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη των στρατηγικών ολοκληρωμένης διατήρησης της αστικής κληρονομιάς σε ιστορικές πόλεις, στο πλαίσιο των αρχών του Ιστορικού Αστικού Τοπίου της UNESCO. Μελετάται η περίπτωση του Ιστορικού Κέντρου της Νάπολης, που εντάχθηκε στην UNESCO το 1995, ως προς τις διαχρονικές προσεγγίσεις του στην προστασία, την ολοκληρωμένη διατήρηση και τη βιώσιμη αστική αναγέννηση του. Αναλύονται τα Ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα στα οποία έχει συμμετάσχει για την ανάπτυξη, τη διατήρηση του και την αντιμετώπιση των σύγχρονων αστικών προκλήσεων και αξιολογούνται οι επιπτώσεις των προγραμμάτων αυτών στο ιστορικό περιβάλλον και στο ανθρώπινο δυναμικό του. | el |
| Content Summary | Europe's historic city centres are constantly challenged by the rapidly changing social, economic and environmental conditions of modern times. Maintaining a balance between the preservation of cultural heritage and the socio-economic development of a historic city can no longer be achieved in traditional ways and integrated policies are required. The object of this research paper is to study integrated urban heritage conservation strategies in historic cities within the framework of UNESCO's Historic Urban Landscape principles. The case of the Historic Centre of Naples, which became an UNESCO site in 1995, is studied in terms of its longitudinal approaches to protection, integrated conservation and sustainable urban regeneration. Τhe European programmes in which it has participated for its development, preservation and the response to contemporary urban challenges are analyzed, and the impact of these programmes on its historic environment and its human potential is evaluated. | en |
