| Content Summary | Η ενσωμάτωση και η συμπερίληψη των ατόμων με αυτισμό, αποτελεί μια σύνθετη διαδικασία λόγω της πολυπλοκότητας που εμφανίζει η διαταραχή. Επαναπροσδιορίζοντας τη σχέση μεταξύ αρχιτεκτονικής και ατόμου στο φάσμα, προτείνεται ένας διαφορετικός τρόπος συνύπαρξης στοχεύοντας στη συμπερίληψη. Αντικείμενο της διπλωματικής εργασίας αποτελεί ο στοχευμένος επανασχεδιασμός χώρων και τμημάτων αυτών στο Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης του Ιδρύματος Β. & Ε. Γουλανδρή, έτσι ώστε να καλύπτονται οι αισθητηριακές ανάγκες των επισκεπτών, εστιάζοντας κυρίως σε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας. Αρχικά, πραγματοποιείται ανάλυση των υφιστάμενων χωρικών συνθηκών και ποιοτήτων στον χώρο του Foyer και του παιδικού εργαστηρίου. Στη συνέχεια, παρουσιάζεται η συνθετική ιδέα που στοχεύει στη δημιουργία αισθητηριακών ζωνών στους χώρους αυτούς και στη “διαμερισματοποίηση” των δραστηριοτήτων που πραγματοποιούνται. Επιπλέον, σχεδιάζονται μεταβαλλόμενες κατασκευές μικρής κλίμακας που θίγουν το δίπολο των δύο “κόσμων”, ενήλικα και παιδιού, γύρω από το έπιπλο. Δηλαδή την μετάφραση του επίπλου ως παιχνίδι - κρυψώνα και ως αντικείμενο με χρηστικότητα. | el |
| Content Summary | The integration and inclusion of people with autism, constitutes of a complicated issue due to the complexity of the disorder. With redefining the relationship between architecture and person in the spectrum, a proposal is being made for a different way of co-existing, aiming in inclusion. Subject of this thesis is the targeted redesigning of the spaces as a whole, and parts of them, in the Goulandris Foundation, aiming to cover the sensory needs of the visitors, focusing mostly on children in the age of pre-school. Primarily, an analysis is being made of the pre-existing conditions and quality of the Foyer space and the one of the children’s workshop. In continuation, the composite idea aiming in creating sensory zones in the aforementioned spaces and the “compartmentalisation” of the activities taking place in those spaces, is presented. In addition, small scale modifiable constructs are designed, aiming to broach the subject of the two “opposites”, adult and child, around the idea of furniture in use in the space. Namely the translation of furniture into a form of game – hiding place, while keeping its functional purpose. | en |
