Summary

The geophysical methods of electrical soundingand seismic reflection are widely used in areaswith hydrogeological interest because they areinexpensive and quick. Also, they give reliableinformation regarding the geologicalbackground of the surveyed area. This work aims to stress the necessity ofgeophysical surveying, combined withsophisticated methods of 3D visualrepresentation in regions of hydrogeologicalinterest in Crete, in order to minimize theexpensive and time-consuming boreholes
